History and Philosophy of Science
Starry Messenger
This site represents Phase I of the Electronic History of Astronomy developed in the Whipple Museum of the History of Science and the Department of History and Philosophy of Science. The aim of this project is to make available electronically some aspects of the early history of astronomy for the use of students studying the History and Philosophy of Science at Cambridge.

Socialising: Res Medievales
'Res Medievales' is an informal society, set up by postgraduate medievalists to enable them to get together for social events throughout the year. We have a great range of events, from cocktail nights and pub visits, to cinema trips to anything vaguely medieval! We are also planning on arranging some day trips. If you are new to Cambridge, it is a great way of meeting people who also love all things medieval!

If you would like to sign up to receive details of our regular events, please send an email to Emma Beddoe (ecb35@cam.ac.uk) and you will be added to the list.
